I read this article early this morning and loved the concept! I just podcasted about it! A few of the things that really stood out to me were:
* Move from projects to Project Based Learning
* Teach concepts not facts
* Make skills as important as knowledge
*Form teams not groups (seems like a small change- but I predict it really matters!)
*Reward discovery (I plan to focus on this much more!) I like the idea of also rewarding challenge and effort.
* Make reflection part of the lesson
*Be innovative yourself (I can always improve on this)
